Here are a few examples of how you can use Research Hound to stay current. Remember that these are just a few of the thousands of uses for Research Hound!

The Sports Fan
Let’s say you’re interested in college football and you have a favorite team. You can select the sports category; add the following keywords (Texas|Longhorns) to your custom feed called “My Texas Longhorn Feed”.

Then anytime a new article is posted on any web site on the Internet that contains the sports category keywords, along with (Texas|Longhorns), you will get a summary of the article presented in your feed. You can view the feed in a widget or in Outlook or in any RSS feed reader!

The Investor
You are an investor in the stock market and you focus on the NASDAQ and a few particular stocks like Microsoft and Google. You would select the Investing Category and put in the symbols as keywords (MSFT|GOOG) and presto! You now have a feed that will present any article that covers either stock symbol right in outlook or in our desktop widget!

The Medical Researcher
Assume you are a research student working on adult stem cell research. You want to stay up with the growing number of news articles regarding adult stem cell breakthroughs in the world. You would select the Health & Fitness category, Research sub-category and add then add the key words (adult stem cell). Then your feed would automatically go out each day to find any new information on the Internet regarding adult stem cells and present that to you right on your desktop or laptop!
